The submitted detail, dimension, anchorage, or installation method differs from what the spec or drawings require.

## What to look for in Division 06 Wood, Plastics, and Composites

- **Lumber dimensions** - nominal vs actual, or non-standard sizes submitted
- **Connection hardware** - nail/screw size, count, or pattern differs from structural drawings
- **Joist/rafter spacing** - 24" o.c. submitted where spec calls for 16" o.c.
- **Bearing length** - inadequate bearing at supports per NDS requirements
- **Sheathing nailing schedule** - nail size and spacing at panel edges and field differs from shear wall schedule
- **Blocking and bridging** - missing or spacing differs from spec
- **Truss bracing** - temporary and permanent bracing details do not match BCSI guidelines
- **Preservative treatment** - ground contact (UC4A) submitted where above-ground (UC3B) was specified, or vice versa
- **Adhesive type** - interior adhesive where exterior/waterproof is required
- **FRP panel thickness or profile** differs from spec
- **Wood-to-concrete anchorage** - anchor bolt size, spacing, or embed depth differs

## Severity

Default grade: Fix and Resubmit. Escalates to Blocker when the difference affects a fire-rated, seismic, or structural assembly.
